Large hoisting machinery’s importance is self-evident in the shipbuildingindustry, which is core device in large ship manufacturing enterprises. The traditionallarge-scale hoisting machinery safety management system has the disadvantagesincluding measurement error hard to be ignored, poor control ability of hoisting andweak information integration ability.A safety management system platform has been set up in this paper aiming tosolve the problems and deficiencies existing in current system. The platform’smeasuring method is based on GNSS navigation and positioning technology, whichguarantees the proposed system with precise integrated field information data flow.Firstly, according to the relevant requirements of the state "hoisting machinery safetymonitoring and management system", GNSS positioning and navigation technology isadopted to get real-time position of large crane. GNSS navigation algorithm used inthis dissertation is described, including the calculation method, the specific derivationsteps and the mathematical model. Secondly, the design and implementation ofsecurity management system platform has been described. The thesis puts forward thedetailed design scheme, specific planning of system platform and the interfacestandard. The application of the proposed system platform includes the following:safety monitoring and management, hoisting machinery attitude measurement,comprehensive control of hoisting, intelligent assistant for hoisting.After the experimental testing, the system is certificated to be safe and reliable,achieving the goal of design.
