Research On The Architecture And Restoration Technology Of Beijing Quanyechang

Beijing Dashanlan Quangyechang is one of the famous modern commercialbuildings. Due to disasters and changes made by "Building Occupants" in nearly100years, its architectural appearance, internal space and structure are significantly differentfrom its original design. There exist possibility of collapse caused by different damages,thus it was decided to restore this famous building in2010.In this article, the architectural features and building technologies of DashanlanQuanyechang are described. The basic principles and technologies in restoring historicalbuilding used in2010Dashanlan Quanyechang Restore Project are also introduced. Thesummary of evidence collection and research in early phase of historical buildingrestore project and reconnaissance and record analysis of covert engineeringtechnologies can be reference for the future similar restore works.
