| With the development of science and technology,techniques and means likenumerical control technology, MES(Manufacturing Execution System) and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning System) that can greatly improve production efficiencyand capacity are widely used in enterprises. These techniques and means put forwardhigher requirements for the organization and management of process data. How toprovide accurate, complete, efficient, consistent and well-organized process data forcompany’s production activities in order to improve production efficiency, reduceproduction costs, improve responsiveness and competitiveness to market changes hasbecome a problem that is urgently needed to be resolved.As CAPP systems are widely used, the process data in CAPP card isautomatically extracted to the database when process design is completed. Process dataproduced in process design is managed through the function of product datamanagement provided by PDM systems. The workflow management function of PDMis used to achieve the management of process design and process change, thus theintegration and unification of process design management and process datamanagement is realized. Finally process data which is accurate, complete, efficient andconsistent is provided for the production departments. Therefore, production efficiencyis increased and production costs are reduced. The main contents are as follows.For CAPP systems are widely used, process data is encapsulated in CAPP cardsand CAPP cards but not process data are managed in PDM systems, the problem howto extract process data in CAPP cards to database automatically when process design iscompleted is discussed.When the contents and methods of process data management are analyzed, amethod based on BOM to achieve the management of process data is used. And thecontents and implementation of process data management are discussed from severalaspects which are process property management, process route management, materialquota management, time quota management and so on.After the analysis of dynamic control of process data, according to thecharacteristics of process design and process change, a method based on workflow tomanage process design and process change is adopted and the integration andunification of process design management and process data management are achieved.Finally, based on the actual business needs in a domestic manufacturing enterprise,a method based on PDM system to achieve process data management is adopted andthe operating results of corresponding modules are displayed. |
