The Research Of Statistical Process Charts Self-Generating Of CAPP

Computer Aided Process Planning was brought into existence with the changing style of modern mechanical manufacturing industry and rapid development of computer technology, and it is one of supporting technology as the advanced manufacturing system. With the development of CAPP's application, the research of CAPP technology will be changed from self-generating of processing process charts to the self-generating of statistical process charts. In order to make use of the process data of production fully, it is necessary to research the processing process charts and statistical process charts deeply, so as to generate the statistical process charts automatically.The system uses Visual Basic 6.0 as development tool, and uses Access as database software. First of all, the paper introduces theoretical knowledge about CAPP, discusses the open questions in application of CAPP, and describes the relevant knowledge about process planning design. According to analysis the data provided by the enterprise, this paper brings forth the general design flow, establishes E-R relation model, and then creates the data base of system following the E-R relation model. The database also includes the data sheets which are used in the course of compiling program, and it can make sure the integrity and consistency of the system's data. Input the database of "processing process charts" by the inputting interfaces of humanization, and save them into data base. After this, by compiling the program codes, operate the data of processing process charts, the database of "statistical process charts" can be self-generated . At last, make all the database of process charts in the data base shown in report mode, and then print them to output.
