With the development of wind power generation technology, large MW grade wind turbines hasbeen fully enter the stage of industrialization and commercialization. But the wind energy utilization islow efficiency and Therefore studies are needed to increase from wind energy to electrical energy.Inthe paper the simulation has been analysed for the energy flow characteristics on large direct-drivevariable pitch wind turbine.Using of relevant theories, methods and techniques, theoretical studiesand field data analysis on energy flow characteristics. In order to improve wind turbine wind energyutilization and economic efficiency,there provides references. The main contents of this paperinclude the following.According to aerodynamic theory and method, a mathematical model of the wind speed isbeen built.According to the wind speed data collected in the field, the use of kernel densityestimation method analyzes the wind speed model and the wind speed model has been built relativelyreasonable.It focuses on the flow characteristics of wind turbine energy and analysis the energy flowsimulation model from wind energy to the power grid in paper:"Wind Energy-Wind Turbine-Generator-Converter-Power Grid." According to a wind turbine parameters, the energy flows of allaspects of the conversion process are been simulated and analysis. That is to the draw a conclusion:the power coefficient is a key factor. Determine the reasonableness of the simulation model isfeasible.There has been obtained the data of wind turbine energy and the flow characteristicsaccording to the SCADA system. The system model about the main branch of energy transformationand flow are constructed,according to analysis the specific forms and the relationship about thematerial flow, energy flow and information flow. There has been analyzed the different wind speedrange of the wind wheel rotation speed, and power distribution using kernel density estimationmethod. There has been put forward the calculation method about the coefficient calculation methodand real-time wind coefficient by using statistical data based on the wind. There has been obtainedthe description method about the measurement of wind speed and wind wheel front velocity.There has been a development about the simulation platform of large direct drive windturbine. According to the mathematical model of large-scale direct drive and energy flow of the windturbine, with the help of the simulation platform, there has been convenient to analyze various datachanges and to further study the wind turbine.
