Livability Design Research Of Hongjiang Ancient Commercial City

As the urbanization develops further, the pollution in the city becomes more serious and the relation between man and land goes worse. Therefore, many new ideas about city development are proposed like eco-development, livable city, hygiene and health city, civilized city and so on and livable city construction become extremely necessary at the moment. Livable city is such a city where people are the priority and the environment is suitable for people’s living and in the meantime, its development is sustainable. It takes care of the whole system, ecological, social, economic, cultural and so on. It is an inevitable trend for the modern city development.This research will focus on the case of Hongjiang ancient trade town, which is a small-medium city in China with a comparatively better ecological environment, rich resources and convenient geological position etc. All these natural advantages will be helpful for it to develop into a sustainable development city and becomes the best livable city for human. There are very few research paper found about the livable construction of the Hongjiang ancient trade town after checking the related paper, which requires actual visits for further study. This research is based on the point of ecological environment and it is discovered that Hongjiang ancient trade city is bound with many advantages, like convenient transportation, balanced ecological environment,characteristic minorities and so on. However, there are also problems during the livable city construction of Hongjiang ancient trade town,like serious pollution, less effective city management facilities and weak environment protection consciousness of local people and etc.After conducting the research of the advantages and disadvantages of Hongjiang ancient trade city, some opinions and suggestions are proposed for the livable city construction. In order to develop a livable place where human and nature can exist in harmony, the priority is to popularize the knowledge of environment protection. Then it is necessary to fix the existed environment pollution in a reasonable way. Finally it is the effective execution of the livable city construction plan.This is only a preliminary plan and united efforts from local people and local governments of different levels are required in order to reach to a sustainable development in the construction of livable Hongjiang ancient trade city and strengthen the comprehensive development of local culture and economy etc.
