As city cleaning and logistics and distribution vehicle, pure electric pick-up truck can reducethe noise to residents and improve the air quality. At the same time electric vehicle cost less thantraditional ones,so it has been widely attentioned by our government and enterprises.Motor and its control system is one of the key technologies of pure electric pick-up vehicles,it can improve electric vehicles performance and play an important role in the wide use ofelectric car.Our team is going to design the motor controller for ecectric pick-up truck.First, we summarizes the motor and its’ controller’s development history and composition,compare the development status at home and abroad, analyzes the basic principle of electricvehicle interior PMSM vector control technology. We design the PI controllers of current loop,speed loop controller using traditional method for engineering. Point at the problem about thecoupling of d, q axis current, we use voltage feed-forward compensation.Then, we analysis the motor control strategy MTPA (Max Torque Per Ampere), which isused under the basic speed and the weak magnetic,which is used beyond the basic speed.Considering the complexity of figuring the d, q axis current according to the formula in time, wecalculate numerical values with the formula beforehand to create MAP charts and save them inDSP2812. Using the look-up table method improve the real-time control effect.In our project, the control command messages for motor controller comes from vehiclecontroller through CAN bus, the control results are feedback to the controller through CAN bus,too. So, according to the J1939format, we designed the motor controller CAN communicationmessages.At the same time, we design the motor controller in which DSP2812is the control core,including the minimum system, power system, IPM (Intelligent Power Module) interface,AD2S1200interface, and use MATLAB and CCS3.3to design the software code.Finally, we do the bench test and let our motor controller work in the real vehicle to test itbasic functions.
