The Evaluation Of The Richness Of Water Resource In Fujian Province

With the development of the social economy, people’s need for water increasesconstantly. The contradictions between the supply and need are becomingincreasingly acute, which may be the important respect that limits the development ofthe economy. The evaluation of water resource is not only the foundation of scientificplanning and rational exploiting water resource, but also the basis of protecting andcontrolling water resource and the prerequisite of the sustainable development ofnational economy. The water resource in Fujian province is relatively rich. But it isscattered mainly on the northwest and rarely on the southeast, which is not match thedistribution of economic aggregate in our province.What the study do is conductingthe evaluation of water resource,which has a great importance on optimizing the waterresource distribution, coordinating the relationship between water, environment andeconomy and realizing the sustainable development of economy.The main content and research results are as follows:Firstly, it introduces the theory of evaluation of regional water resource, Such as:the principle of choosing the evaluation index, the method of identifying the indexweights (including AHP and Information Entropy), the classification of the indexgrade, the identifying of the standard value,and the principle and steps of waterresource evaluation methods,such as: Fuzzy ComprehensiveEvaluation, Set PairAnalysis Method and Attribute Recognition Method.Secondly,basing on the analysis of water resource, economy and environment inFujian province,and according to the theory of evaluation of regional water resource,it sets up a general system of water resource evaluation index, which includes foursub-systems: water resource feature, making use of present situation,social economyand ecological environment. The system will evaluate the richness of water resourcein Fujian province. According to the results, it will find out severl new conclusion: theunbalanced distribution, the unmatchable to the distribution of the economy, the lowrate of the exploiting the general water resource and high rate of the water exploitingin some areas. Finally, aiming at the problem of the water resource in Fujian province, itsuggests corresponding measures. Such as saving water, emphasis the control of waterresource, exploiting the irregular water source and establishing water service bureauto govern the water resource, which has some significance for alleviating thecontradiction of supply and need on the southeast coastal area and promoting therational use of the water resource in the whole province.
