Automobile industry marks the industrialization level of a country. It is one of the mainpillars of the national economy. Good development of China’s auto parts industry is of greatimportance to the national economic development and industrial improvement. Currently, theforce of3C revolution has changed the living conditions of the auto parts industry. As a result, inthe circumstances of customer first, intense competition and volatile market, with the productionmode transformation of high mixed low volume, using production process reengineeringtechnology is a problem which is worth further studying.Firstly, this paper studied and discussed the business process reengineering theory. Accordingto the L company’s operation status, this paper summarizes the exhibit different characteristicsbetween the low volume high mix model with the high volume low mix model. Then analysis theexisting processes’ organizational structure, job functions, business processes and informationsupport systems. According to the new production model requirement change the companyobjectives form service for production to service for costumer. Identify the original processproblem and find reason, then planning and design the reengineering business process. Finally,standardized the enterprise’s management system, organizational structure, standard operatingprocedures and information systems to complete the business processes reengineering work.Finally, the enterprise significantly improved operating performance and customer satisfaction,and the enterprise comprehensive strength has been improved. In the end, this paper summarizesthe experience of business process reengineering, and prospects the future development of BPR.
