| AMT Gear motor speed module is used to measure speed and direction of AMTgear motor, and then provide the speed and direction to central control unit forcalculating gear position and status. AMT gear motor speed and direction is monitoredby electronic module, it use2hall sensor to measure hall signals when motor runningwith the ring magnet, then the2signals can be used to calculate speed and direction.The concept of monitoring motor speed and direction is not so complex, there aretwo regular methods hall sensor test module and checking current in the current design.For hall sensor module, most application based on less ring magnet poles, such as4poles, in AMT motor application, it requires high precision control to gear shift, and4poles ring magnet cannot meet the requirement,24poles used in my project. Forchecking current to monitor motor speed and direction, the concept and design is muchcomplex than hall sensor concept, and it requires high quality motor, like stability andripple control, so the cost will be higher, it was not used in my project. Compare highring magnet poles and less poles design, the main challenge is hall sensor phase shift, ifthe phase shift out of the specification, it may cause mis-operation when shifting gearsand this is high risk for vehicle. Meantime, the vehicle and transmission application iscomplex, it requires electronic speed module should work stable in full temperaturerange and whole life time, and these are2key points my project focus on.The article is mainly focus on AMT motor speed test module design and testvalidation, key direction is research how to design and validate hall sensor phase shiftto meet full temperature and whole life time requirement, detailed mainly includetheory design, manufacture and validation, etc.The result of this project will has positive influence to the motor speed module,especially for the high precision control speed control motor application, and it is agood reference on the stability and price-performance ratio. Since this project alreadySOP, and the product is stable, price is reasonable, so this project not only can bereference only on university research but also can be a very good reference in the realapplication project, and it is competitive to current other solutions. |
