The result of survey shows that the earthquake damage of rural houses is fargreater than the buildings in city. In recent years, the study of the seismic performanceof rural housing gets more and more attention. Shaking table model test is the mostdirect and effective means to study the seismic performance of buildings, so there wereso many rural houses shaking table test. However, due to the monolayer rural housingand urban architecture quite different structural system architecture, there are a numberof problems that exist in shaking table test. Such as similitude relations, distortion ofgravity, heavy seismic shear strength of the wall the impact and effect of the position ofthe counterweight and other similar relationship has not been solved. In this article, themajor contents are as follows:(1).This article will select some sort of representative test to identify monolayerrural housing shaking table test characteristics. Compared with the multi-housing andhigh-rise buildings shaking table test, the author identifies the advantages of monolayerrural housing shaking table tests and seismic select different place. Followed by singledegree of freedom system, the author assume mixed similitude relations of monolayerrural housing shaking table test.(2).The effect of gravitational distortion caused by the lack of weight is studied inthis article. The author explains the reason of the gravitational distortion effect. Theauthor gets the influence of gravity distortion effects through the reaction of the internalforces under seismic loading and gravity work together. The author proposed severalmethods to solve the gravitational distortion effects combined with the impact of thelaw of gravity distortion effects and monolayer rural house shaking table test of its owncharacteristics. (3).The seismic shear strength of wall is affected by the compressive stress of thetop of the wall. The size of the seismic shear strength of the relationship between modeland prototype direct affect the seismic performance of the prototype model of thejudgment. The author analyzes the causes of this phenomenon, and then research theinfluence of seismic shear strength in both cases loaded onto a counterweight.(4).The author uses the generalized system of single degree of freedom of themodel analysis. The dynamic characteristics and the dynamic response of the model dueto the weight load a different location. The existing similitude relationship of monolayerrural housing shaking table test is right when the weight evenly loaded onto the model. Therefore, I propose the use of finite element analysis method to correct the existingsimilitude relationship. The correction factor of similitude relationship is supported andcalculated, so that we can use the results of test to derive the parameters of the prototypedirectly.(5).At last, there are many problems in the production phase of the model. Theauthor considers some of them is man-made controllable. I address these issues putforward their opinions on handling. I personally involve these issues combined with amonolayer rural housing shaking table test. This article may provide a reference forfuture monolayer rural housing shaking table test.
