Ageing is the inevitable result of social progress, our country has entered the agingsociety and the aging speed is rising year by year. Taking into account the phenomenonthat increasingly rich elderly retired leisure, provide appropriate space for elderly to doleisure activities become a priority. The Round-City-Park is an tipical city parks ofxi’an.It wins the love of the elderly because of its good green environment and facilitiesand it is one of the main places for urban elderly leisure activities. However, it is notinvolved in the physical space to the optimal design of senile content, therefore,described the design of The Round-City-Park is extremely urgent.This paper selected The Round-City-Park for the study. First of all, Summarizedthe elderly outdoor recreational activities，leaded the concepts elderly travel activitiesrings and the field of activities analysis elderly activity characteristic in parks andanalyzed and summarized the parks should meet the special needs of the elderly as wellas the important role and significance for the elderly.Secondly,combing the relationship by outdoor activities for the elderly and urbanparks, put forward the principle for city park green space optimum described areaccessibility, safety and identification.
