AC contactor which is used for remote control and is able to frequent tripping circuitis a low-voltage product. With the development of science and technology, it has gottendiversified development. The dynamic and static characteristics for contactor can reflect theperformance of the contactor. it’s very necessary to study its dynamic and staticcharacteristics of the product.The electromagnetic system of intelligent AC contactor was taken as the researchobject in this topic. It mainly realized the simulation and optimization of theelectromagnetic part. Main studies are as follows:First, a quarter part3d model was established for electromagnetic system of contactor.The static simulation was done and a series of static values were got such as suction andinductance value, etc.Second, a interface which call ANSYS software using VC++was created. it only needinput some parameters of contactor,and then can directly get the results of simulation. Inthis way, the staff that does not know ANSYS software can indirectly can get thesimulation data. A program was writen to calculate the dynamic characteristics ofcontactor with VC++.Finally, its electromagnetic system using orthogonal experiment method wasimproved. The performance of the electromagnetic system is improved, and raw materialscan be saved.
