The weight of the cargo of the special bulk highway transportation in SiChuan is often more than 1000tons.When the truck with special cargo goes through the bridge on the highway,it may put a heavy stress on the bridge.So,in order to determine the safety of the truck with special bulk when it goes though the bridge on the highway.This paper sets up a safety monitoring and evaluating system as the template of the Bridge of ShiTing River in DeYang.Using this system,we can realize the safety evaluating and early warning on the special bulk highway transportation.Aimed at the function of the safety evaluating system,this paper sets up a new method,which we can judge the safety of the truck with special bulk going through the bridge by the estimate and limit of deflection and strain in the middle of the bridge.At first,this paper uses the ADAMS software to build the model of the Bridge of ShiTing River in DeYang and the model of truck with special bulk. And then,it uses the dynamic analyses of ADAMS to get the calculated values of deflection and strain in the middle of the bridge when the truck goes through.And then,this paper builds a monitoring system to get the measured values of deflection and strain in the middle of the bridge when the truck goes through.And then,this paper designs a new scheme of the safety evaluating one the base of the measured values and calculated values.On the base of this scheme we can determine the safety limit.And then,this paper uses this scheme to evaluate the safety of the truck with special bulk going through the bridge.This paper makes an analysis report on the base of the result of the safety evaluating.At last,this paper makes a decision about whether we can award a passport on the base of the analysis report.Aimed at the function of the early warning system,this paper sets up a new method.At first,we can get the calculated values and the measured values of deflection and strain in the middle of the bridge every time when the truck goes through by the dynamic analyses of ADAMS and the monitoring system.And then,we can determine the discount rates of deflection and strain in the middle of the bridge.And then,this paper uses the least squares method to fit a curve of all the discount rates. At last,if the discount rate we get by the dynamic analyses of ADAMS and the monitoring system deviate from the fitting curve,we should send a early warning signal to the next transportation of special bulk.
