Research On Supporting Technologies Of Transportation Impact Analyses For Urban Site Development

With the contradiction between site development and urban traffic getting more and more serious in China, transportation impact analyses have been paid great attention by central government as well as local governments, and the practice of transportation impact analyses has been rapidly spreading in China.This thesis mainly researches the contents and methodologies of some key supporting technologies of transportation impact analyses. On the basis of introducing the advanced experience of the developed countries such as the United States of America and the United Kingdom, the thesis analyzes the existing problems of transportation impact analyses in China, and makes suggestions on domestic practice according to the practical condition. The purposes of this thesis are to improve the scientific level and the applicability of supporting technologies of transportation impact analyses, to promote the maturation of the technical system, and to raise the predictive evaluation effects on site development of transportation impact analyses in China. The major contents of the thesis are as follows:(1) It clarifies the definition of study area in transportation impact analyses and the difference between study area and influence area, and makes suggestions on the methods of study area determination in China.(2) It sums up the contents of background information needed for transportation impact analyses, and makes suggestions on the practice of background data collection, field reconnaissance, and data processing in China.(3) It introduces the working mechanism and key points of trip generation rates forecast in USA in detail, and researches the study mechanism and forecast methods of trip generation rates in China.(4) It studies the analysis technologies of transportation impact analyses, and makes suggestions on the analysis criteria in China.(5) It makes suggestions on strengthening the study of original theories on transportation impact analyses of foreign countries and preparing the technical requirements for transportation impact analyses in China.
