Research For Spatial Form Of Small And Medium-Scale High-Speed Railway Station Core Area In China

In recent years,with rapid development of economy and expanding cities in China, the demand for transportation has increased a lot. Therefore the construction of railway stations has entered a period of rapid development. Domestic and foreign researches related had focused mostly on the urban spatial form and spatial structure around the high-speed railway stations, the use of the land in railway station area on the macro-level. Also researches related had focused mostly on the high-speed railway station,the square in the front of railway station,and the facility layout around the railway station on the micro-level.More systematic and less comprehensive study on the design for the spatial form of small and medium-scale high-speed railway station core area is rare.Therefore this article aims to supple the research in this field.In this paper,the subject of research is the spatial form of the small and medium scale high-speed railway station core area in China.On the perspective of urban design,it had studied the factors and elements of the subject,which made it not only transportation nodes, but also important nodes with city function.The full text is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is an introductionof the paper. It discussed the development status of the high-speed railway as a green transport system and the impact on the development around the high-speed railway station in the background.It proposed the significance of the research theoretically and practical.Then it defined and explained the relevant concepts and theories.After that it sorted out the current theories domestic and foreign, so as to facilitate further study below.The second chapter is relevant theoretical research,which included the theory of urban space design,the theory of spatial formation and planning theory for high-speed railway station area.The theoretical literature was reserved for the following study.The third chapter studied the influence factors of the spatial form of small and medium-scale high-speed railway station core area.From the three factors of planning design, social and cultural environment and the natural environment,it analyzed the impact of these factors on the spatial form of high-speed railway station core area, as well as how these affected.The fourth and the fifth chapter summarized the elements of the spatial form of small and medium-scale high-speed railway station core area. Through the relevant theoretical mentioned in the second chapter,it raised the six constituent elements of spatial form,namely spatial texture, borders, regions, paths, nodes, markers.Then through the analysis of domestic and foreign research cases,it proposed the problems existed in the present situation and the merits of overseas case which can be learned from.The sixth chapter is the core section of this article.Combined with the the questions raised above and the experience of foreign cases,it proposed design strategies for the spatial form of small and medium-scale high-speed railway station core area through six elements of the spatial form.The last chapter is the summary and prospect of this paper.
