Promotion Of Quality Management Capability On QFD In Tongji Design

According to incomplete statistics, in 2013, the total output value of China’s construction industry reached RMB 15,941,300,000,000 by a year-on-year growth of 16.3%; Housing construction area of 11500000000 square meters by year-on-year growth of 15.2%, and the attendant engineering quality accidents happen frequently. According to the information from the National Quality Supervision Department, it displays that about 40% of overall engineering accident caused by the bad quality of engineering design. Therefore, the quality management of architectural design is the key to control the project quality. The quality function deployment (Quality Function, Deployment, QFD) as the quality management theory and method of containing the source management, is the enterprise can achieve customer satisfaction and product innovation, enhance the core competitiveness of an important weapon.Based on the above research background, this paper based on the review of related theory. First through the analysis of the quality management system design of the architectural design and Research Institute of Tongji University, found the problem existing in the management of design quality and imperfect. In this paper by trying to use the advanced theories and methods of QFD, we will make in-depth study of all the formation process of the work from the deep investigation of the owner needs in the initial stage of the project, until finishing the final evaluation of design works. By introducing the quality function deployment into the design of the tender stage of the project and the performance of the contract in each stage of the whole process, quality metrics at all levels of target will be made. By controlling the key points the quality of designing works will be limited and a new way different from the conventional mode is found out. In order to enhance the company’s design quality management capability, it is a key point to make the core competitiveness of enterprises. All the ways of performing design quality management plans are based on the QFD quality control model. First of all, get owners demand through the market survey, through the analysis and consolidation of the owners’ demand the formation of customer needs that QFD required will be found out and the its degree will be filled in the HOQ. Secondly, the customer requirements will be transformed into the technical requirements (i.e. quality characteristics), and also the quality characteristics will be input into quality house. Furthermore, it determines the relationship matrix correlation that reflects the related degree between customer requirements and quality characteristics. Finally, through the analysis of HOQ, one or several quality characteristics and customer needs will be found that affect quality, thus form the plan of quality controlling and promote the management ability.To improve the quality of solutions based on QFD technology, provides the quality control in the process of operable method for Design Institute at all stages of the design process, the quality function deployment into the modern project management in each stage, the use of modern quality control method, through strict control of key points, in order to improve the design in each stage quality management ability, and the requirements of IS09001 quality management system design practitioners will provide experience and guidance.
