Along with the development of automobile technology, People used to consider the power performance、fuel economy、handling stability of a car. But as more and more high requirements on the car, people spend more and more time with car, in the evaluation of performance of the car, the car ride comfort has become a noticeable performance. Because it is directly related to the driver and passengers ride feel. The car as a complex multi quality of nonlinear vibration system, When the incentive effect, often exhibit complex vibration response. This kind of vibration for the driver and passenger and cargo will be affected. Ride comfort will not only affect the ride comfort of passengers, but also related to the problem of driving safety, environmental pollution and so on, so it has the important practical significance to the optimization of vehicle ride comfort.In this paper, a passenger car ride developing as platform, starting from the ride comfort test. Come out of the ride comfort optimization problem, thus the simulation model is established, and the sensitivity analysis to determine the design variables, competed the multi objective optimization, the optimization results basically reached the goal.First of all, an independent brand benchmarking car and a joint venture brands benchmarking car and design of vehicle ride comfort test were carried out on rough random road speed 60km/h and smooth random road speed 100km/h two kinds of working conditions, the design of vehicle ride comfort with the standard car were compared, according to the test results, the optimal working set target.Then the optimization ideas, optimization simulation model is established and the random road roughness model, combined with the actual situation in this paper, the vehicle dynamics model of seven degree of freedom and on the SIMULINK platform was built, the model will be used for the initial optimization. It also established the ADAMS Vehicle Multi-body dynamics model as a simulation model for the detail optimization. And the degree of precision of the two models is validated.Finally, the ride comfort index for multi objective optimization. In order to establish the optimization model, sensitivity analysis was carried out for the candidate of the design variables, the sensitivity analysis by using the orthogonal experimental method and considering the multiple targets of multiple conditions. Then the optimization model is established. On two kinds of commonly used genetic algorithm were analyzed, and selected the NSGA-Ⅱ. Optimization condition to select the rough random road speed 60km/h. Optimization work is divided into two parts the preliminary optimization and detailed optimization. The optimization results meet the design objectives. Finally, the design variables are optimized to smooth the random road speed of 100km/h simulation, the simulation results are consistent with the design goals, which verifies that the result can achieve good effect in two cases.
