Study On Urban Morphology Evolution Of The Changbai Mountains Surrounding Small Or Medium Cities

With the rapid development of urban construction and the promulgation of the new standard of urban size, the national policy inclination gradually move to encourage scale expansion of large&medium-sized cities, as well as to develop small cities more vigorously. The morphology of small and medium-sized cities and the development of surrounding collaborative cities group has become a research focus in the field of urban and rural planning.At the same time, considering two-thirds of China’s territory is mountainous, only a few studies have explored the related research of mountainurbanology in the northeast of China.It is very necessary to figure out how to utilize natural ecological resources in northeast mountainous areas,how to transform resources into favorable factors in the development of small and medium-sized cities, and carry on quantitative analysis of the city morphology evolution through the space syntax software.This paper takes the Changbai Mountains as the carrier, combined with space syntax, fractal theory and other methods to analysis. And the purpose of the study is space syntax innovation in urban morphology of mountain cities. According to the control and influence degree of urban development of the mountains surroundings,the author choose four representative cities in Jilin Province,:Dunhua, Tonghua,Jiaohe and Huadian as the research object.In the research perspective, this thesis use time as the main line, objectively divided the morphology evolution of small and medium-sized cities around Changbai mountains into different stage divisions, and analyzed features in different periods; Space and morphology is used as Subordinate line to quantitative city morphology by using space syntax software to extract the typical cities’ axis maps, mining the dynamic path of development of four typical cities and also provides new ideas and methods for mountainurbanology in thenortheast China science research branch and also enriched morphology research of small and medium-sized cities.The aim of this study is through the quantitative analysis of the process,characteristics and basic laws of Changbai mountains surrounding typical small and medium-sized cities form. Mining and finishing evolution trend of four typical cities around Changbai Mountains. And for the first time complete a scientific and systematic carding of mountainurbanology in the northeast. At the same time through study on the mechanism and driving factors of the four typical cities near Changbai mountains, put forward concept development pattern of typical surrounding cities from macro to micro levels, to provide the theory and method of optimization morphology development of small and medium-sized cities in northeast mountain area.
