Angle steel is the essential raw materials of iron tower processing, with Tower manufacturing often use Angle steel material for Q235 and Q345. Steel mill will be confused in the process of Angle steel production in two materials. Tower manufacturing enterprise will mixing two materials in the processing of tower, which become the most serious factors that affect the safe operation of the Eiffel Tower. In the process of Angle steel production and processing, experienced workers can distinguish its material through the voice in the process of punching, this approach has to do with the worker experiences and responsibility, so we can not promote references.Based on the above situation, I designed an approach to determine angle steel material through gathering the punching force in the process of punching, then I developed it into an independent system through the application of PLC and PC. I determined the point of pressure collection through analysis of the functional requirements of the whole system and the working conditions of Angle steel production and processing equipment.In the aspect of Hardware, Pressure sensor using high-precision PU5400, which can collected high pressure in the pipe pressure of hydraulic system. Through estimating the input and output points of the whole system, I selected the FX2N-32 MT type PLC and FX2N-2 AD analog input and output module, the combination PLC and input and output module can realize the data transmission and analog-to-digital conversion between PLC and PC.In the software aspect, which mainly includes two parts, the PLC program and the upper machine. The PLC program mainly realizes the sensors and transmission of data between PLC and PC and filtering processing. PC program using Wincc programming, Which application to data in the database of PLC, then the PLC will detect the pressure value comparing with standard blanking force to determine what kind of specifications of the Angle. Standard pressure value can be modified in the database, after processing can save in the database and print it out in the form of reports and graphs for convenient access and statistics, and implements access, query and edit records in the database, and other functions.This paper main research content for the following parts:(1) To design the overall steel recognition system: through analyze working conditions of angle line, I put sensor in the high pressure pipeline of hydraulic system, the pressure of the collected values transmitted to PLC, PLC after dealing with the data back to the PC to complete the whole process of material identification.(2) On the basis of punching force formula to calculate the vary Angle steel of theory punching force into the database: on the basis of punching force formula to calculate the Angle of theoretical punching force of different specifications, which will deposited in the EXCEL, then to establish the link of between upper machine and excel at the same time.(3) To design hardware system of the steel detected and assembly. The hardware design mainly do two way hydraulic signal acquisition.(4) Composing PLC program. mainly two way hydraulic signal acquisition, filtering processing, data, pressure data processing and communication.(5) To compose data processing software the of upper machine. The software use Wincc writing, using the software can read the data from the PLC, which can data display, sorting, query, modify, and printing of the pressure of statistics, etc.
