V Project Communication Management Studies

After around 30 years practice, project management system has achieved a great achievement in China, though project communication management, as a study field of project management, has researched and developed several decades, but there are still many problems during the project, like lack systematic of project objectives, frequently changes of design, and the lower level of information system and so on. The validity of information communication has become the key factor in the success or failure of the project. Especially in medium and small projects, most of the project managers are from technical background, the management knowledge is just some independent and unordered skills, which cannot be systematically applied during the whole process and to all the projects. The problems caused by invalid communication will often affect the overall project cost, quality and delivery, thus affecting the ultimate success of the project.Z company is a representative of small and medium engineering company. This article is focused on V project of Z company, studying the status of project communication management, based on the theories of project management and project communication management, analyzing the problems in project communication management, finding out the solutions and precaution measures. With the study of this article, it can be considered as a reference to the communication management of other engineering projects and provide theory guidance and experience to the success of other similar projects.
