| With the rapid development of economy, construction has already become one of the pillar industries of national economy. In recent years, people put more emphasis on cost and time control than quality control. Engineering quality directly relates to the project life and causes significant financial losses. Quality, cost and schedule has the complementary relationship. Quality problem affects the goal of cost and schedule. With the improvement of project modernization, the owners require higher quality products. Traditional methods of quality control have the difficulty of information sharing and collaboration. They form isolated island of information easily and lack of the sense of quality management. Improving quality management must have become the unprecedented challenges.I argued quality control with BIM on the basis of disadvantages of the conventional quality control methods and the trend of construction information management. The main goal of this thesis is to make BIM more popular, enrich quality control methods, improve project quality and build up enterprise core competence. This dissertation has constructed a theoretical frame of quality control based on BIM by theoretical analysis method, empirical analysis and comparison analysis. The article explored quality control with BIM to guide other project and create the dynamic basis database, refine assignment of responsibility and management process to ensure the successful implementation of BIM. The quality control in BIM of A project in the end of this thesis has been successful and has gotten good economic and social benefits. |
