With the increasingly fierce global competition, manufacturing companies not only to ensure product quality, but also satisfy the diversified need of products to meet customer requirements. Demand for product diversification requirements of the production companies must constantly changing production tasks, quickly put into production is a need to address the problem of how to make changes after the production tasks. Reconfigurable Manufacturing System to deal with this small volume, variety of modes of production has good adaptability. When the production task changed, you can build on existing manufacturing resources, through the manufacturing unit of redrawing process path the reenactment and other processes for rapid reproduction of the product. Reconfigurable Manufacturing unit is an important component of reconfigurable manufacturing system, which is the core of the production process, its construction and layout will directly affected the overall reconfigurable manufacturing flexibility and configurability. The main consideration is classified the similar process path parts and the production equipment of these parts, so that the number of work piece processing times and transport costs as low as possible. The main consideration of the layout is work piece transportation costs, and the optimizing of unit work piece processing during logistics reentry and other issues.To unit construction and layout issues, the equipment load, productivity, processing and transportation costs are the major goal to be optimized and how to deal with this conflicting goal are the main problems, which is the cell construction and layout processing. The paper analysis the reconfigurable manufacturing systems and reconfigurable manufacturing cell between domestic and overseas, which gives several common methods that unit constructed and find out the main problems by analyzed the existing methods, also do some improvements that the deficiencies of use similarity coefficient. Layout problems analysis a variety of issues through the layout models and layout constraints, which given the logistics cost for minimal layout optimization model and use using process linear layout method that translate a minimum logistics costs into the maximum number of interactions logistics between adjacent devices, and also layout the equipment and facilities.The cellular construction and layout by the analysis of the problem is based on the process paths to consider multi-species, multi-path processing, cell manufacturing to build cost-effective multi-unit model and the path through the process, equipment and information constraints to ensure the cells built reasonability.Previous studies of cellular construction are limited to the construction of the model and the reasonableness of the processing of the research. The article is based on the genetic algorithm for solving the superiority of multi-objective problem, combined with a reduction gear manufacturing plant, after solving the optimal path of existing various production processes and the analysis of the existing equipment load size optimal path, identify the problems existing process path, the path of the process to make a further division, the equipment-component load more balanced after a group technology. For each piece of equipment should be completed those tasks are given a specific value, so that the production process task becomes very clear, a substantial increase in productivity and further shortening the production cycle. Finally, according to the specific process unit and the path formed by division, the equipment of each cellular layout within analyzed under the assumption that the physical reconstruction can be achieved in order to optimize logistics costs as the main goal of the process, and given the equipment layout accord with the direction of the path processing.
