When China haves some conflicts with the other countries, it is impossible that we can not buy the overseas CPUs or gain technology supports.These circumstances will bring some bad impacts on trafficã€financeã€industryã€national defence.To avoid these affects,China government provided many manpower and money to research technology and manufacture several kinds of CPUs included Loongson.At the same time some companies develop some coputers based on this homemaded CPUs. These computers will provide avail technical maintenances and ensurance for the above fields.In the thesis,I wrote up the features of homemaded loongson3A CPUã€the ways how to expand I/O interfaces of the main computing moduleã€the techniques how to design hardware and softwareã€intergrate a computing systemã€signal integrityã€the emulator of circuit.By these researchs,I conceived the scheme how to design and implement a naval ships main computing module whose CPU is Loongson3A. the features and guideline of the main computing module is complied with the standards of the equipmentsof Chinese Naval ships. It can be applied in Naval ships equipments and substitute the main computing modules whose CPU is X86architectural. It also is a Compact PCI main module.main Circuit designs of Compact PCI main module base on homemade Loongson3A CPU include designs of Powerã€Clockã€Power on/off and Reset designã€Loongson3A CPUã€DDR SDRAM designã€North bridgeã€South bridge〠network interface etc.The main board provides four RS-232serial interfacesã€one standard parallel interfaceã€two standard IDE interfacesã€four standard USB2.0interfacesã€one standard PS/2mouse interfaceã€one standard PS/2keyboard interface〠one floppy drive interfaceã€four10/100/1000Mbp ethernet network interfacesã€one VGA interfaceã€two DVI interfaceã€two SATA interfaceã€one audio interface. I observed some researched experiences during the course of accomplishing this subject. I realize more about Loongson3A who is an MIPS processor. During the entire course,I went across every step from design to test myself.
