Energy saving and environmental protection get more and more attention with theimplementing of the basic national policy and national sustainable development strategieswhich are protection of land resources, the protection of arable land. Forbid using the solidclay brick and the development of new wall materials direct the modern research of theconstruction industry. New wall materials which including fly ash bricks can be produced byusing fly ash as main materials, these materials can up to the standard. The development andproduction of the autoclaved fly ash brick can change the waste fly ash into the utilizable ash,which is one of the most effective to eliminate the pollution of industrial wastes.The traditional fly ash brick can be obtained via high pressure of blank preparation,molding, high pressure or atmospheric pressure steam curing which using fly ash and lime asthe main raw material with adding amount of aggregate and gypsum. Based on the previousresearch, high-pressure fly ash brick can be produce by high-pressure steam curing processusing the industrial waste as raw material. The composition of different proportions of theraw materials and the physical and mechanical properties of the masonry materials werestudied to get the optimal proportions of different materials and to solve the key problems ofthe autoclaved fly ash brick masonry. The studies on the specific content were as follows:1. The experiments were based on the mixture ratio of the traditional autoclaved fly ashbrick, with fly ash as the main raw material, electricity gravel substitute lime as activator, slagused as aggregate. The effects of various amount of gelled material, different kind of graywater and the amount of aggregate on the compressive strength of the autoclaved fly ashbrick were obtained, which can aslo got the optimal scheme. The results showed that there isan optimal mix ratio between the full waste autoclaved fly ash brick and other materials.High-strength, high-quality powder autoclaved ash bricks can be produced with determiningthe suitable mixture ratio of materials and production processes by using the industrial waste.2. With reference to the actual production experience, according to a certain range of rawmaterials mix and production technology to produce four kinds of autoclaved fly ash bricks.Comparison study of autoclaved fly ash brick water absorption, compressive strength, flexuralstrength and frost resistance under the different material ratio, come meet the standardsrequired by the best material ratio, and the distribution ratio of raw materials on the influencelaw of various performance indicators to autoclaved fly ash brick. Results show that the fourkinds of autoclaved fly ash brick under different raw material proportioning of compressivestrength, bending strength and compression ratio can satisfy the requirements of standard,physical and mechanical properties of autoclaved fly ash brick is best when raw materialmixing ratio of fly ash: calcium carbide slag: slag: citric acid slag=47.8:15.9:35:1.3. Dosageof fly ash, calcium carbide slag, slag, the trend of the influence of physical and mechanical performance of brick basically is consistent, there is a close link between the variousproperties of the material with each other.3. In the autoclaved fly ash brick physical and mechanical properties to meet thestandard requirements of the premise, the autoclaved fly ash brick masonry compression,shear, axial tensile and flexural tensile strength test through to the different strength of mortar,studies the mechanical performance characteristics, and explore the economic rationality ofmasonry mortar. The results show that the mechanical properties of autoclaved fly ash brickthat meet the standard requirements, and the measured value is much higher than the standardrequirements. Concluded that when the masonry mortar strength grade for M10, themechanical properties of masonry get a better improvement, we recommend using the M10mortar in the actual project.4. In autoclaved fly ash brick masonry mechanical properties could satisfy therequirements of standard, under the condition of different mortar strength, curing condition,age, height, and constraints under the condition of water wall of the drying shrinkageperformance. By measuring and processing test data, analyze the different factors that affectthe characteristics of autoclaved fly ash brick masonry shrinkage, so that improvementshrinkage of autoclaved fly ash brick masonry engineering measures according to thecharacteristics of each factor.
