In the current society where manufacturing industry is growing rapidly, products upgradingis faster in accordance with people’s needs, and therefore enterprises need to be more innovativeto cope with this trend. When more researches about product innovative design are conductedaround the world, there are more people focusing on the research and development of the serviceplatform for product design.This research uses the product design methodology based on functional decomposition,combining the module combination methodology, and comes up with the product forminnovative design method based on functions and structure conformity. By studying on the corealgorithm of module combination design and related interactive models, this research creates adesktop application for product form innovative design, and does a deeper research on theservice platform of product innovative design.This paper focuses on product form innovative design using various combinations ofmodules’ spatial positions. This research uses OOM, core algorithm based on spatial positioningand screening, C#, and Visual Studio and develops a desktop tool based on.NET platform.Visual Reality Technology and Unity3D engine are applied to create real-time site preview,animate collision, and assist designers on the process of product innovative design. Based on thestudy of product form innovative design, this research expanded the application of productinnovation design service platform. By studying automatic coffee machine and semi-auto dosingmachine, the practicability of the method brought up in this research is proved useful.
