Study On Quality Evaluation Of Municipal Engineering Project Design

Municipal engineering is an important infrastructure that supports normal production and life of the city. With the development of urbanization, its characteristics of comprehensiveness and complexity emerge increasingly and its importance requires each public work to have a high standard of quality. However, the reality of the situation is not optimistic. After the completion of many large municipal projects, there are various errors and problems from design to construction. For a long time, people used to focus municipal project management on procurement and construction management and has made some successful experiences, but they ignored the leading role that design places in the construction of municipal, the facts that the design phase of the construction management is the important bond of the entire process of the municipal project management and the quality of design have the decisive influence on the quality of municipal engineering.Combining the characteristics of municipal projects with the quality management experience of general project design, this thesis deeply analyzes the work processes and content of the municipal engineering design. Learning from the advanced foreign theory of quality management, this thesis builds quality control process system for municipal projects design and gave an example of the West Changjiang Road viaduct project to conduct applied research related to quality control techniques. Based on the practical project, it also builds the quality evaluation system according to municipal project construction plans as well as sets up quality comprehensive evaluation mode of municipal project construction design by using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy theory. Finally, this thesis conducts an empirical evaluation of the instance of West Changjiang Road viaduct.
