Observing the modern architecture development of Taiwan, an obvioussocial change made young architects think regional architecture differently.Young architects tend to take daily life, sustainability and the value of their ownculture into consideration rather than using stylish public building to identifyone-self. Considering such situation, the discussion toward the regionalapproaches of contemporary architecture in Taiwan must about the style-orientedpoint of view but head to a more living-based, multicultural perspective.Because the majority of contemporary Taiwan architect is to accept differentcountries and regions, the growth of culture and education, so the design willdifferent architectural styles. But Taiwan architect committed to "people firstbuilding", using the most direct contact with the people, close, textured localbuilding materials to enhance the quality of the use of space and quality of life,the building became a truly local flavor building. Therefore, the majority ofarchitects from the starting point to build this building rather than practicalblueprint architecture, humanities are concerned about cultural care, care for therelationship between people, people-centered life into the building to do, becomea contemporary Taiwan architecture mainstream thinking and the use of localdesign.This thesis is an attempt to apply a new analytical framework, hopes tounderstand the regional approaches of contemporary architecture in Taiwan since1990by inquiring three relations. They are:1.the relation between architect andeducation2.the relation creation and architecture3.the relation mordenarchitecture and native. Under the analytical framework this thesis applied, threeapproaches were found:1.Concerned about the humane architecture2. Localization3.Architectural historical and cultural heritage.This essay also looked into some cases for further explanation.
