With the development and progress of society, the problem of energy and ecological aroused more and more attention. In2013, serious smog pollution happened in the north of China on the day of heating, this thing cause people concern about the environment. In our cold regions, the winter heating is People’s basic living foundation. Maintain normal life by burning a traditional energy such as coal, oil, natural gas boiler heating is bound to bring the environmental pollution, increase the consumption of non-renewable resources. So in recent years, the attention about how to take the green environmental protection way to meet people’s demand for comfort also become more and more important. In the category of low grade energy, urban sewage as a comfortable temperature, quantity stability resource, checked by actual measured found huge occurrence and available cold/heat, is a wonderful source of heat pump hot and cold in northern China. Combining with engineering examples of an untreated sewage source heat pump system in cold region made a series of research, main content is as follows:First of all, by the problem about how to better improve the energy efficiency through using the urban untreated sewage source as heat pump hot and cold source in our cold regions, made a simple analysis, combining the technology development of sewage-source heat pump, using the analysis of the sewage-source heat pump to do a basic review and comparison. Second, made a basic overview about the categories, forms and thermodynamic analysis of the heat pump system, and analyzed the process of sewage-source heat pump system. Then, from the cold region in our country, practical engineering case of a district, through the comparison with other cold heat source analysis it is concluded that the feasibility of using urban sewage-source heat pump system, combining with local climate characteristics of district heating and cooling scheme do a comparative analysis and research, according to the project made urban sewage-source heat pump system for the design and selection of the research.Finally, this paper combined with practical engineering, using urban untreated sewage source heat pump technology analyze the energy saving and economic application research for the whole project, it is concluded that using urban untreated sewage source as low grade heat pump hot and cold source, can fully meet the demand of user. At the same time the system does not consume fossil energy, no pollution, zero emissions, making great contribution to the improvement of the ecological environment. Application of urban untreated sewage source system completely conform to the Copenhagen conference advocated by the "low-carbon life" concept, conforms to our country government proposed "vigorously develop circular economy and sustainable development of the construction of a well-off society" policy ideas, has significant environmental benefits and economic benefits.
