Now it is the peak period that development and construction of concrete dam projects, a large number of concrete dam projects are building, and there will be many new projects started each year, a large concrete dam construction interference with diversity and risk factors of many other characteristics, as the complexity of the concrete dam, domestic research for the concrete dam construction process focused on the construction process simulation and the construction process visualization of simulation results, specific to the construction process based on the perspective of the owners, with the complex constraints, there is relatively less study on the cost-schedule joint analysis and the prediction of schedule. Through the research of concrete dam construction process for construction schedule and cost control for real-time analysis shows that the cost-schedule joint analysis can make progress and planned works closely integrated, easy for the owner to track and manage the project. Based on the analysis of the work completed, we can forecast the duration of the unfinished work, and through real-time analysis in the construction process,we can guide and adjust the construction schedule of the next phase of the project, so as to solve the significant cost overruns and schedule delays problems, which is conductive to enhance the level of China’s concrete dam project management. Therefore, in the construction phase of concrete dam, the cost-schedule joint analysis has an important significance for the development of China’s water concrete dam projects.In this paper, adopting the principle of earned value to act the cost-schedule joint analysis in the concrete dam construction process, and based on the earned value result of the finished work, we can predict the duration of the whole project. Firstly, choose concrete dam project phase as the study, and introduce its implementation and features, pointing out the importance of the concrete dam’s cost-schedule joint analysis, and then, on the basis of the cost-schedule joint analysis of the finished work, carry out the prediction of cost and duration indicators. Secondly, based on the earned value analysis for the work has been completed, study how to predict the duration and cost indicators, in this paper, focuses on the application of the principle of earned value to predict the duration indicators and the cost index, and build a predictive indicator system. Furthermore, combining the characteristics of network planning technology, consider the influencing factors of the inconsistent between the real-time progress of the project and the plan, and we divide these factors into two types. Introduced the effective duration earned value, the effective cost earned value and the rework rate into the traditional earned value system, and establish the duration and cost predictor system based on the principle of earned value forecasting system.Ultimately, the results of the analysis based on the current assessment of the work has been completed earned value results and according to their unfinished work and the overall project schedule and cost predictions. Compared with the traditional earned value forecasting results, this paper with greater accuracy and applicability. The example shows that the cost-schedule joint analysis using the earned value method in the concrete dam project can better track project progress in real time and make timely adjustments.
