The Study On The Spatial Patterns Of Secondary Educational Space Under The New Conception Of Contemporary Education

With the increasing emphasis on the secondary education system and continuing reform of educational methods, educational conception changes a lot. While keeping emphasis the systematic, comprehensive, integrated on teaching, the importance of students’personality, communication ability, creativity quality have also been considered. Due to the pressure of entrance examination for higher education, the reform process of secondary education is a little bit lagging behind. In the last two years, the call for secondary education reform is getting higher. Therefore, the Chinese government also published new policies in some areas. It is certain that the secondary education will be more diverse, flexible and open in the future.Educational space is the material carrier of educational activities, and is related to the quality of conduct and completion of educational action. Those action as the content of educational space will also affect the form and spatial pattern. Therefore, only the suitable spatial patterns for the changing educational conception cultivate talents needed by time.This thesis is based on the understanding of changes in contemporary conception of secondary education. Taking secondary school building space as the research object, and using theories from pedagogic, environmental psychology and behavior, the conclusion about the problems of secondary educational building space has been made from the investigation and analysis of the existing secondary school buildings and educational space. Based on the current understanding of educational conception and problems of secondary school building cases in recent years, the research about modules of secondary education building space has been done to draw optimization design strategy and to be showed as diagram, which has a certain value as a reference for secondary educational space design.
