With the widespread use of micro air vehicles in some aspects of military and civilian in recent years, the ground data acquisition system is also becoming more and more important. Traditional ground systems are almost desktop systems, which have some shortcoming like bad portability and flexibility. This paper analysis the demand of the data collection system, design and implement the data acquisition system based on Android platform to deal with the high concurrency data and portable and flexible demand. This paper can conclude as follows:(1) Design the Wi-Fi communication program based on Android platform. The air vehicle is the server side and the Android system is the client, they transmit data through Socket connection based on TCP, the system can collect air vehicle’s status data in real-time.(2)Through the study of video conversion technology and transport protocol, design the video processing solution on the Android side. Implement the function of camera data display in real-time, apply JavaCV project to Android mobile terminal to implement the functions of snapshot and recording.(3)Design the data-storage solution, and implement the function of storage different data in different ways. Use SharedPreferences method to storage the configuration information, use file storage method to finish the large, high concurrency air vehicle’s status data storage; use SQLite database to accomplish the air vehicle’s position data collection.(4) Design the Android system’s user interface and the relations among them. Based on Google Map of Android system, this paper implement the real-time location function of the air vehicle, also can draw flight path on Google Map by using the position data of SQLite.
