The use of more and more new electrical equipment of power grid, resulting inincreasing of various kinds of interference in power system, so as to endanger the safeoperation of power grid. Whether ordinary users or some large companies are usingsome of the new steady stream of equipment, these devices not only bring high-tech, butalso are highly susceptible to environmental interference, when there is a little deviation,equipment may not normal operation. So you need to improve the quality of electricenergy.In order to achieve the effect of improving power quality, we should have acomprehensive understanding of power grid operation state. To long-term observationof electric power system, we will find the problems of power grid. This thesis design isa dynamic power quality monitoring system. For real-time monitoring of power systemis the main task of the system, through real-time observation can ensure the stable andsafe operation of power system. This design on the basis of TMS320F2812as the corecontrol system, using fast Fourier of plus window algorithm to complete the long-term,real-time monitoring of power grid. This design according to the modular approach todivide the whole system into four parts: data acquisition, data processing,communications and human-computer interaction. Data acquisition part is to collectcompletely the voltage and current signals in the grid into the digital signal processor,and then calculated the data by processor, and then obtained each parameter value ofpower quality. Processor will also compare the calculated of the numerical withstandard value, if the actual data is not in conformity with the provisions, the systemwill alarm and will communicate the parameters of results through serialcommunication interface. The designs can oversight the working state of the power grid,to assess the power quality level, to predict the possible accident in power system.
