The Design And Research Of Building Automatic Control System Based On BACnet Protocol

With the rapid development of modern computer control technology, automation technology, information technology and communication technology, Intelligent Building (IB) has a rapid expansion. Today, Building Automation System (BAS), as the main part of IB, becomes the popular topic to be concerned. This paper is aimed at the research on system configuration and engineering design of Building Automation System.In this article, writer firstly and briefly introduces the latest trend, development of BAS, and also discusses the BACnet(A Data Communication Protocol for Building Automation and Control Network) and its network structure.From the point of system design, a scheme of building automation system base on the application level is brought forward. A set of monitoring tables for system is designed, which can help forming control substations. This paper also discusses the hardware and software of the whole system and their configurations. The supervisory system of every subsystem is set up, and then on the base of function analysis of the supervisory system, the whole structures of the system are established.This article is developed with the building automation project of ishine shopping mall. Honeywell WEBs series product from Honeywell international was adopted in this project. In order to combine the advantage of DCS and FCS, the system use the structure of DCS based on BACnet. Designing the software by graphic programming language, we realized the supervision of Light, HVAC, water supply, power supply, totally2832points. In addition, the writer separately and detailed illustrates the hardware structure and the supervision and scheme of the sub-system.This paper present an example of a Building Automation System design based on BACnet. The methods introduced in the paper can be consulted in the design of building automation system.
