| Virtual instrument is a special equipment with visual interfaces based on computer related hardware and software. It completes instrument control, data analysis and display, and other functions on the designed virtual instrument panel with the help of a software developed platform. Since the advent of LabVIEW advocated by NI Company, virtual instrument technology has been widely applied into many areas.An automatic testing system for motor generating performance test is developed based on virtual instrument technology and using LabVIEW to develop software of the platform. It implements the main generating performance test of DC motor and the destination of the platform. The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, it introduced the development of virtual instrument test system and motor performance test system at home and abroad and also the background of the project in this paper. It narrated the test principle of the DC motor generating performance test, including no-load test, external characteristic test, regulating characteristics test, efficiency test. It designed the electrical construction of the generating performance test platform in this paper. The component, electrical performance and electrical connection are narrated in this thesis.Secondly, it designed the software construction of the generating performance test platform in this thesis. Virtual instrument software of LabVIEW is used to set up the virtual test platform, and at the same time, the software apartment such as human-computer interface, data acquisition, data processing, data storage, reports printed was designed in detail.In the end, least-square method was improved in this thesis. Moving least-square method was used to improve the fitting effect of curve-fitting. The curve of the DC motor generating performance test display more smooth and fitting the actual situation after curve-fitting using MLS. |
