Sensor network is the fourth information technology following PC, Internet, wireless communication technology, it has important meaning and is worth studying,the development of wireless sensor network technology has become a mainstream communication technology today., because of its very low cost and power consumption, convenient installation, the reliability of communication, now it has been widely used in environment monitoring, mine safety grid system and other industrial fields. There are a large number of nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks, This paper takes the design of wireless sensor node as the core, design a set of monitoring system based on development direction for the current intelligent power system, guarantee the stable operation of the power grid and power quality effectively, The online monitoring and fault diagnosis of the power will develop towards the intelligent and humane direction.This paper mainly studies how to use zigbee technology to build the wireless sensor network platform to realize the remote monitoring of grid, this paper first introduce the structure of wireless sensor network and grid,and the relationship between them.Then expounds the features of zigbee technology, making a detailed comparison with several other common wireless technologies,.presents a general design plan which used zigbee technology as the carrier of wireless sensor network. Based on this, the paper develops the following work:the paper make a detailed analysis of zigbee topology and protocol stack. the algorithm analysis and program implementation of the tree routing topology are carried out. We choose CC2530and CC2591as the main control chip,design the hardware circuit of each part, including zigbee module, data acquisition module, power module and hardware circuit of coordinator node. The sensor node is responsible for data acquisition and forwarding, the coordinator node is responsible for receiving data and saving, and then upload to processing center via CDMA. Finally according to the function of each module, design the corresponding module of the software process, realize the real-time communication between operation state parameters of power grid and monitoring center, provide data with them in order to achieve a reasonable grid scheduling, power balance, intelligent power load control system.
