Research On Formal Aesthetic Evaluation Of Landscape Pavement In City Park

As a typical urban public space,city park should have high environmental quality. The landscape paving should not only meet the use function,but also have high aesthetic value.Studing the evaluation of formal aesthetic value scientifically is conducive to buildspace environment of high quality.Using a combination of literature research,field surveys and model investigation,this research includes the following aspects:(1) The basic theory research is proceed,which includes the development and its trend of landscape pavement in city park,the relationship of formal aesthetic,aesthetic appreciation and content in philosophy,and detailed analysis of formal aesthetic of landscape pavement in city park in terms of color,graphic and space by bring composition art in.(2) This paper gives an idea of formal aesthetic evaluation research mainly by classified discussion of space types and composition.Recreation behavior has a close connection with form,characteristic and function of space in city park,inferring that the characteristic of landscape pavement is different because of space types.Therefore,space in city park can be divided into four types for recreation behaviondistribution space,fittness and entertainment space,walking space and viewing space.with city parks such as Hangzhou flower nursery,the northern Hangzhou city athletic park,Hangzhou riverside park as objects of investigation. And by using the formal aesthetic theory,the paper deeply analyzes the characteristic of landscape pavement in different spaces in terms of colors,shapes,textures etc.(3) The paper establishes the formal aesthetic evaluation system of landscape pavement.By introducing the modern decision analysis method (AHP) in the study,it summarizes up the main factors affecting the formal aesthetic value according to the characteristics of landscape pavement in different spaces,then use "Objective-index hierarchy " of AHP to built the evaluation index system.After calculating and analyzing the results of expert questionnaire by yaahp software,we get the weights and consequence of formal aesthetic elements of landscape pavement in city park.The results is as follwing:From weights of level indexes:the weights of formal aesthetic elements of landscape pavement in defferent spaces are:distribution space:space(0.4344)> color(0.3381)>graphic(0.2275);fittness and entertainment space:space(0.3959)>color (0.326)> graphic(0.2782);walking space:space (0.4923)> graphic (0.3327)> color(0.1750); viewing space:space (0.5300)>color (0.2408)>graphic (0.2293).In city park,while the spatial scale is decreasing,the contribution of color and graphic composition to the formal aesthetic value of landscape pavement is decreasing and the contribution of space composition is increasing.The landscape pavement is more conducive to performe the color composition with bigger area and more complete surface structure.Besides,the graphic is more important in narrow and long space.From weights of secondary indexes:the indexes wtih max influences are: distribution space-scaling ratio(0.2151);fittness and entertainment space-colorful form(0.1627);walking space-rich layers(0.2313);viewing space-cordial scale(0.2554). the indexes wtih min influences are distribution space-neat arrange(0.0345);fittness and entertainment space-simple ranking(0.0365);walking space-humble color(0.0515);viewing space-variable configuration(0.0587).In different types of space to focus on different forms of aesthetic landscape pavement design has a practical significance. It’s of practical significance to focus on different ways of formal aesthetic while designing the landscape pavement.(4) This paper come up with recommendations for landscape pavement design in city park,which are overall design,divisional design,and the form-function principle. At last,the paper indicates its deficiency and future research direction.The research remains to be refined,and evaluation standards remains to be further research.The paper aims to provide feasibility study for landscape evaluation,and some reference for the landscape pavement design in the future,which promoting the balanced development of form and function.
