How to rapidly and effectively find potential customer groups and response to their requirements has become an important issue in manufacturing enterprises. Based on the study of enabling technologies of product design and the main elevator design methods, this paper propose an in-depth study on customer-requirement driven replacement design technology of customized module and its application in elevator industry. An elevator design system for customer was also developed, and the system was successfully applied in the KLK2 high speed passenger elevator product design.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:The first chapter reviewed the current research of the enabling technologies of product design at home and abroad, and the current research of the design technologies of elevator was also introduced. Moreover, the research backgrounds, main contents and the framework of this thesis were presented in the last section of chapter one.The second chapter presented the heterogeneous data integration method, which was used to integrate the customer heterogeneous demand data from different information systems of enterprise and Internet. A data warehouse of elevator customers based on cloud model was constructed. An improved K-means clustering method which was useful in the heterogeneous data environment was used to cluster customers to obtain the customization demand information from customers.In the third chapter, customer demand decomposition and technical parameters solving methods were presented, which transformed the customer demand to the technical parameters. The correlation model between the technical parameters and the functional parameters of custom module was built. The functional parameters of the model were acquired by the nonlinear mapping of neural network.In the fourth chapter, this paper analyzed the big data of the design knowledge of elevator custom module, and constructed the data warehouse of design knowledge with the help of data warehouse in cloud model. Structure replacement design technology was proposed. Using the replacement structure model of custom module and structure replacement technology, customers’ requirements can be responded quickly. And an elevator lift car design instance was introduced to validate the theory.In the fifth chapter, an elevator design system for customer was developed on the basis of the theory and methods discussed above. The structure and function modules of the system was specified. The system was successfully applied in the elevator product design.In the sixth chapter, conclusions were given along with the recommendations for future research.
