Research On Street Network Layouts And Culture Ecology Of Yunnan Historic Cultural Towns And Villages

Rapid urbanization, short-term construction behaviors and understanding of complex space form on historical and cultural towns and villages, these result in dilapidated traditional style of towns and villages and broken historical context. The thesis attempts to take streets as the breakthrough point and establish a preservation and renewal system based on streets, through the analysis of street network space form and culture ecology of historical and cultural towns and villages.The street networks space form includes two systems of street network form and space form, which are analyzed in the research. Based on network density and space syntax of theory, with the help of density chart, width and height of relationship table and analysis technology of network space topological structure and using the software of Arcgis, Depthmap and Spss to qualitatively analyze geometry form and topological structure of street forms and study its morphology and interaction principle. From view of visual and aesthetic, and aspects of components, node elements, landscape elements and the scale to study the spatial characteristic of streets and analyze spatial sequence and tissue distribution of principle.Through the research on the street network patterns and characteristics of the street space, it realizes the comprehensive and accurate analysis of spatial form of the street network.Based on the whole cognitive of historical and cultural towns and villages of Yunnan, and starting with landscape representation to analyze the streets of culture and ecology from two aspects of social function and cultural concept, mining deep cultural connotation of street network space form. In light of the faced problems and contradictions of historical and cultural towns and villages of Yunnan, starting from the two aspects of the street network space form and cultural ecology and based on the street as the breakthrough point, from the aspects of people-oriented strategy, organic integration of street network, and creating a sense of street in the place, continuity of aboriginal life and multifunctional incremental update, and the research puts forward the suggestions for the protection and renewal of the town.
