With the development of our market economy and the reform of power market, the power supply enterprises are always committed to further innovating management mode, optimizing business procedures and enhancing the efficiency of collaborative work under the guidance of the scientific development concept and on the basis of the safe and stable operation of power grids. To achieve these goals, one of the key processes is that the power supply enterprises’marketing, distribution and dispatch functions must change the separated and independent current situation in management systems, business patterns, information systems, etc.This paper focuses on the development stage and the actual situation of Ningbo power grid. Proceedings from the point of the development level and the development orientation of Ningbo power grid, taking the breakthrough of the data barrier in marketing, distribution and dispatch as the pointcut and based on the existing GIS platform of distribution network, this paper makes a useful exploration in platform construction and application practice. In system construction, this paper studies the comprehensive constructive design ideas, goals, system framework, and technology roadmap of the Data (including marketing, distribution, and dispatch data) Fusion Business Application Platform, which is conducted by power supply companies based on GIS. In primitive data, this paper proposes some solutions in the data corresponding between marketing and distribution network, the stocked census data, and the system integration of incremental data maintenance. In business applications, the thesis proposes the design framework of business application functionalities and studies the realization of the main business application including automatic (auxiliary) business expansion, power cut intelligent analysis and release, the initiative repair in distribution network, the calculation of damaged wires in zone area, the thematic map of distribution network, etc. Besides, this thesis makes a brief summary of the construction practice and the application efficiency of the Data (including marketing, distribution, and dispatch data) Fusion Business Application Platform, which is conducted by Ningbo power grid company based on GIS. The thesis holds that the platform can improve Ningbo power grid company’s internal management ability and collaborative efficiency, help Ningbo power grid company transform "business oriented" to "customer oriented", establish "service coordination", and also, provide a strong technical support in rapid response service mechanism in foreign trade, what is more, it can also lay a firm foundation for Ningbo power grid company’s further construction and development in smart distribution network.
