This paper fully and deeply study the present situation of Jiangdong District of Ningbo City distribution network, from the technical rationality, grid standard, the safety and reliability of the operation and load transfer ability and so on several aspects of Jiangdong District distribution network were detailed analysis. A key link in the distribution network of distribution network in Jiangdong district network structure, equipment, operation and other operation were studied. Through the research, the author believes that the current Jiangdong District distribution network and regional development of load matching, basically meet the current urban demand for electricity, but due to Jiangdong District urban development more rapidly, power grid planning and urban development planning are not synchronized, power grid construction and the speed of urban development is uncoordinated, Jiangdong distribution network has begun to appear "clip neck" phenomenon, can not guarantee the urban development of the electricity demand; and decline of power supply reliability, during peak periods, part of the region once faults occur, will not be able to load transfer.This paper mainly to load density forecast, urban function blocks are divided as the basis, in accordance with the principles of planning technology requirements planning and study the Jiangdong District medium voltage distribution network construction and development situation. According to the characteristics of city development, in Jiangdong District of division of the power supply block, so that each block can be formed a to block function construction based micro grid. According to the annual peak load and annual power consumption, Jiangdong District load growth rate estimates. We choose the Jiangdong District residents, education and scientific research, administrative office, financial and commercial, industrial and municipal facilities and other more common with typical samples of the type of electricity, load density of these samples and electricity also rate estimates.
