| In recent years, with the development of BIM technology, the area of the BIM application in the field of construction engineering is growing. BIM has not only changed the mode of project and construction, the traditional valuation methods, but also subtle influence on the whole life cycle management model of construction. The technology of BIM which has been used in cost estimating, cost management and cost control has made certain achievements, more and more estimating and management software are bring forth the new through the old, but in the electric power engineering cost field has not been carried out related applications. As the power engineering cost has many characteristics, such as highly specialized, large amount of investment, the fine features of specialization. For large, complicated, high investment of power projects, the method of traditional manual calculation and using Excel to calculate has been unable to meet the engineering cost calculation requirements on accuracy and efficiency, using BIM technology in the electric power engineering cost management has become an inevitable choice for the development of power industry.First, the paper summarizes the features, advantages and principles of BIM technology and its application in the construction cost. Moreover, a survey in the form of questionnaires in the electric power industry about BIM application in construction cost is created. The results of the questionnaire are collated and statistically analyzed to obtain the key factors that influenced the BIM application in China’s construction cost of electric power industry.Second, three kinds of BIM application implementation plan and roadmap in cost management of electric power engineering are proposed based on the characteristics of China electric power construction cost and the transfer process of project cost information in BIM. The optimal BIM implementation plan in the electric power industry is determined through comprehensively evaluating and analyzing the three different implementation plans based on the model of entrop-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The determined optimal promotional program is the best one for promoting BIM technology in power engineering industry at this stage. The key factors affecting applicating and promoting BIM techonogy in electric power engineering have been analysised in this paper. Combined with the optimal promotional program of applicating BIM, guidances of promoting the application of BIM are given to the electric power engineering industry.Finally, detailly analysis the difficulties existing in the process of construction cost by using BIM based on 35kV substation project and proposed the implements of calculating quantities and price. Finally using BIM technology realize the target of calculating substation project engineering cost, which provides a new idea of using BIM technology to caculating electric power engineering cost. |
