The Research On The Application Of Value Engineering In Construction Engineering At Design Stage

In the field of our country construction project, there is a phenomenon of incontrollable cost in long-term, so the cost control of construction project is key point of construction project management, and design stage is milestone of the construction project cost control. The paper discusses the construction project cost control from the following aspects.Firstly, through the literature researches, carding comprehensively development situation of construction project cost management at home and abroad, organizing the theory of project cost management and value engineering, studying the feature of construction products and production, discussing the concept of construction project life cycle, analysing the distinction between the whole process cost management and the total life cycle cost management.Secondly, the paper discusses and analyzes the application of value engineering in design stage,and put forward to the idea that value engineering could be applicated on many areas, such as the optimization of programs, the allocation of quota design, the optimization of structure design, the comparation and desion of various programs, the selectoion of material and devices, the audit of design drawings and budget. And it also disscuses the method and steps of these applications.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the relationship of value engineering and function, and developes a method of design project optimization based on total life cycle cost and value engineering. And it also developes the step of how to select a opitimal project.Fourthly, the research studies the acquisition method of functional evaluation of value, and subdivides the weighted method of it. Besides, this article proposes linguistic value as the function evaluation of value and introduces the EWAA operator into it.In addition, the paper disscusseses and explores the improvement of value engineering method in the aspect of function coefficients and cost coefficients.Last, this article verifies the scientificity and practicability of the theory and method put forward in front by two cases of construction engineering design.
