With the electricity market development and reform deepening,Competition among power enterprises increasingly fierce, electricity market structure is changing gradually. power companies make a reasonable choice of the site is a critical mission of Thermal Power Plant Project which is an important part of the electricity market. It is not only related to their thermal power plant economics, security, competitiveness and sustainable development, but also affects the surrounding environmentThis paper proposes the importance of studying issues of Site Selection for Thermal Power Plants based on the analysis of the current situation and existing issues of Site Selection for Thermal Power Plants, and sorted out the framework of this paper. First introduced the theory of Site Selection for Thermal Power Plants, principles, contents and procedures. Then introduces comprehensive evaluation method of fuzzy, and compared FAHP with AHP.paper established FAHP advantage and improved FAHP through the analysis of the Site Selection for Thermal Power Plants conditions.on the basis of the principles and steps of AHP to build the corresponding Site Selection for Thermal Power Plants evaluation index system, using Improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each index value.final, the paper make comprehensive evaluation by the index of the economic evaluation, technical efficiency evaluation, social evaluation and environmental benefits, combined the method of quantitative and qualitative, selecting optimum site plan by combining fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and satisfaction scores derived scores. This model also has far-reaching significance for other site selection.
