With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the deepening of urbanization in recent years, the contradiction between scarce land resources and the rapid urban population is becoming more and more prominent. High-rise buildings have become the main real estate development project types, and their appearance provides a good solution to the problem. In order to select the optimum structure scheme of the high-rise building, it’s necessary to comparatively analyze the seismic performance and economic performance of different structure types to provide reference for structure scheme selection.Based on an actual high-rise building, this paper describes several commonly used structural systems and their scope of application in the high-rise building. The application structure system which selected three kinds of structure:frame-shear wall structure, less shear-wall frame structure, concrete braced-frame structure were analyzed and compared in the design of high-rise building structure theory and current related national standards as the basis and combining the characteristics of the building. The method which is the mode decomposition response spectrum analysis and elasto-plastic time history analysis was used in three kinds of structural systems by YJK finite element software. Three kinds of structure systems are used for calculation and analyzing to compare their seismic and performance indicators and economic performance under seismic effect.The construction plane size was more than the specification requirements of expansion joint and expansion joint was not set, the structure model was established by using SAP2000 software and the structure stress and deformation are analyzed in the temperature cases. According to the actual situation of building area, The result has provided references for the similar construction.
