With the power network becomes bigger and bigger,it needs better service. The quality of the voltage is a important point about the power service.We must study the control of the voltage for giving the customer a good and balanced voltage. The article study the needed of the system, the controlling strategy of the system and the work of the system. The major contributions of this dissertation are as follows.The necessary and designs of the controlling system of the reactive power and the voltage is proposed. On the basis of the current situation, it presents the concept of regional network reactive power optimization control with the technology of the automatic control of the reactive power and the voltage,found the target and the necessary of the system and design the rule of the function。According to the target and the necessary of the system, the mathematic model is founded.Firstly, the best optimizing target is found by using the genetic algorithm with the whole network reactive power and the voltage. Then calculating the reactive power flow with fast decoupling method and founding the model of sensitivity analysis. Getting and operating the way under collecting all the results of the professional system.Checking the relationship system of automatic voltage control and SCADA and involve the problems. Testing and analyzing the features of the system. It proved that the system could g meet the requirement of the power networks.The system of automatic voltage control can effectively improve voltage quality,prevent the service. The system can achieves good results when the system must be improved for the change of power networks.
