Power Distribution Automation is an effective means of improving the reliability of power supply and the management level of distribution network, also it is an important basis for the realization of smart distribution grid. It has been widly applied in major cities in the country. As the construction scale expands, the importance of construction & operation management system gradually reflected.The thesis makes a detailed analysis on the construction process of project, then deeply discusses the related management problems in the construction & running stage of power distribution automation. By using project management theory, organization & responsibilities in the construction of the project, schedule & process management, cost management & budget control in the construction of the project is discussed.The thesis conducts a comprehensive study on the operation & maintenance management of power distribution automation system. By index control and real time monitoring, the practical level of distribution automation system is improved. By applying feeder automation, the reliability of power supply is improved, the investment returns. By data quality analysis, closed loop processing of terminal defect, and formulating maintenance procedures, the lean management level is improved.In addition, the thesis constructs the operational assessment system of power distribution automation system. Through this method, a comprehensive evaluation of the operation status is made. In the end, the thesis evaluates the application effect from the economic benefits, social results and management benefits. The result shows a good economic benefit, social result and management benefit, with remarkable results.
