With the acceleration of urbanization and rural water supply project construction, the problem of rural drinking water has been alleviated. But from the runnig of existed projects, because of the small scale of the water supply and lack of management experience, combined with the concentration of the rural water periods, the water supply can not be guaranteed. At the same time,there is frequent occurrence of water supply cut-off accident together with the high operating costs. Therefore, it is theoretical meaningful and practical valuable to carry out research on the linking system of rural water supply network in plain rural area and reasonable allocation of water sources.This paper is based on Mengcheng rural drinking water safety project, choosing Wangji, Banqiao and Tangji, this three centralized water supply projects for research, then putting forward three kinds of water supply network linking schemes:multiple water pipe connection, main pipe connection and terminal connection of pipe tree branch. In view of the three kinds of rural water supply network above. One is to evaluate the contribution of network joint to the water supply assurance against the existed pipe network, which is according to the water supply pipe network flow,the pressure distribution and the head loss of a plurality. Then, on this basis, to allocate reasonablely and select appropriate linking method for the water source and the facilities involved, in order to maximize the benefit of users and ensure the safety of water supply in rural area. Another is to select the software that is merged with GIS WaterGEMS highly, according to the management of graphics topology and the rich forms of expression belonged to GIS, establish water supply network model and analyze the hydraulic data of water supply network for hydraulic optimized calculation of pipe network. Then, display the information of pipelines and nodes which makes it more intuitive to the designer. The other is to use digital management technology of ArcGIS, through appropriate data organization and establishment of the appropriate spatial database and attribute database, for the large amounts of data in rural water supply project,it is possible to manage effectively, update timely and visualizeThe research shows that, after terminal connection of pipe tree branch in Wangji, Banqiao and Tangji, head higher than 35m reduced by about 30% and head lower than 20m improved about 50%. In addition, there is still a big gap of the present network capacity about transportation and distribution after parallelling pipe network, in the future,the water distribution requirements can be meted by the deployment of water source and water distribution pipe network facilities in the accident conditions.
