Research On Mechanical Product Process Knowledge Management

With rapid development of the information technology and knowledge economy, the machinery manufacturing enterprises in China has been severely tested, the completed quality of the product and delivery are influenced by the product demand of small quantities, multiple batches product in the market. For the machinery manufacturing enterprises, the effective management of process knowledge laid the foundation of enterprise production and processing, it is an important factor of the enterprise to win competitive advantage. In this paper, on the base of the research and analysis of domestic and international process knowledge management, the existing problems of the process knowledge management are summarized, such as the process knowledge classification is not clear, the low efficiency use of knowledge, there is not a complete process knowledge management architecture to manage process knowledge, which make the process knowledge cannot be quickly shared, etc, these problems bring great distress to the process design and enterprise production and directly affect the quality of mechanical products and business benefits. In this paper, the project “Quick tolling technology and knowledge management platform” of a company, which the author involved in is the task source. Response to these problems, the full life-cycle theory is introduced and a classification system of process knowledge is proposed, and in accordance with process knowledge management architecture a comprehensive process knowledge management system is designed to improve the efficiency of enterprise process design, and makes the process knowledge can be effective and convenient storage, use and sharing, and ultimately improve enterprise efficiency. This paper will focus on the following three parts.(1) Based on the characteristics of process knowledge, process knowledge classification system is proposed. For the questions of confusing process knowledge classification currently, This paper introduces the full life-cycle theory of knowledge, and using this classification system to classify process knowledge, lay the foundation for business process knowledge management activities.(2) Improve knowledge management life cycle model, to build a comprehensive process knowledge management system, based on this, mechanical product design process knowledge management system. In the absence of a complete set of process knowledge management architecture model, by analyzing mechanical products process knowledge management activities, and building a complete model of process knowledge management system. The purpose is to design a process knowledge management system to meet business demand for the rapid process knowledge sharing.(3)With the help of the open-ended and the advantages of reconfigurable of collaborative management platform, the process knowledge management system is integrated developed. In this paper, as the mechanical industry and a company’s needs as the background and based on the product collaborative management platform, the process knowledge management system of mechanical product is designed, and as the process knowledge of the company as the data source, the model and the system proposed in this paper should be technical implemented.
