Axial compressors are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power and other industrial processes. But its structure is complex and the working environment is poor. In the process of operation, it is easy to appear unknown fault. This is not only increased the difficulty of monitoring and control the compressors greatly, but also bring great economic loss to the industrial production. Therefore, the research of axial compressor’s safety evaluation method is particularly important to safe, reliable, economic operation. For the running axial compressor, a large proportion of the risk is usually appear on a small proportion of the components, but it regular inspection repair for the whole equipment, and there are some problems like no focus, high cost and so on, there are also exists inspection of excessive, inadequate or ineffective and other dangerous conditions. In order to solve the problems, hereby research on axial compressor’s safety evaluation method based on risk and condition, then combined the RCM and monitoring method though study, improve the safety evaluation of axial compressor. The research contents include:1. Research the reliability centered repair evaluation method of axial compressor, including the axial compressor’s system division, the definition of system function, the definition of system components function, analysis of failure mode and effect of the system components, the acquisition of reliability data and repair data, and probability statistics analysis, formulate risk acceptable criteria, risk selection, determine the components risk level or the component importance, make repair strategy and so on.2. Research establish the fault monitoring and early warning model of axial compressor high risk components, use the BP neural network theory and according to the test case data, realize the automatic fault diagnosis prediction.3. Based on the vibration, temperature, lubricating oil monitoring data of the axial compressor high risk components, by using the method of analytic hierarchy process, research the health status index quantification model of high risk components, realize the health index evaluation of the key components; According to the health index and its weight coefficient of all the key components to determine the comprehensive health index and its grading method of axial compressor.
